In Horizontal Enamelling Plants the ovens are horizontally mounted, the hot air flows with induced draft only (with Air Blower Control). Normally for the thicker wires & strips – longer ovens are required for better soaking time and hence are produced in vertical enamelling plants. If thicker Wires / Strips are processed in Horizontal Ovens then following problems may occur :

• The Wires / Strips will have SAG Problem due to heavy cross sectional weight
• Because of SAG the Wires / Strips will not run in the centre of the Oven
• The Enamel Applied will not be uniform on the Surface and will be oval
