The Hot Metal Detector is a photocell sensitive to infrared radiation emitted by metals at a temperature above 250^oC as wires, bars and plates etc. A digital output is provided due to the presence of hot metal found, regardless of the section and the position of the metal within the field of view. An analog output proportional to the intensity of the radiation detected metal is available.
