Hydrated Sodium Calcium Alumino Silicate or HSCAS is a sorbent compound composed of natural clays containing sodium, calcium, aluminium and silicon, as well as, water either in crystal form or in the hydroxyl group form. It acts like a “chemical sponge”, selectively absorbing mycotoxins in animal feed.
