Hydrant Pit Valves

Eaton’s Carter product line of hydrant pit valve styles are designed in accordance with API Bulletin 1584, third edition compliant. Both 4 inch and 6 inch ANSI flange models are available with standard lanyard, air operated or dual air and lanyard operated pilots, or any one of three new remote pilot valve actuator options. These remote pilot valve actuators remove complicated control devices from the pit by moving most of the pilot valve functions from the hydrant valve to the hose on the fuel servicer vehicle. This eliminates the need to remove the hydrant valve from the pit if the pilot actuator requires maintenance or replacement.
