High rise maintenance platform.
hydraulically operated mobile man lifts have been introduced by usha.
the man lifts are available with single, double upto five scissors
reaching upto height of 10 meters. the maximum working height is
limited by the length of scissors platform which can be accommodated.
the scissors mechanism provides the maximum stability as compared to
lifting by telescopic columns & directly by telescopic hydraulic
cylinders. the lifting muscle is usually twin hydraulic cylinder
commensurate with the lifting capacity. the hydraulic power can be
provided by various options e.g. Single or double hand pump, engine
operated hydraulic pack & electrically operated hydraulic power pack.
The standard version is having two fixed wheels & two swivel wheels
coupled with a towing hook. The unit can be moved by manual power or by
any powered vehicle. dc operated systems (lifting only) are also
available with built in battery & re-charging system. remote steering
device can also be provided such that the unit can be driven by standing
on the platform with certain height & speed restrictions. the varied
applications for the equipment cover overhead factory maintenance,
street light maintenance, providing emergency lights, conducting fire
fighting operations with certain limitations, servicing & maintenance of
air craft & maintenance of plant & equipment requiring operations at
various height levels & order picking applications.
