Hydro Cyclone

This equipment is used for liquid solids separation, or separation of coarse & fine particles. There are no rotating parts are inside the equipment. Feed slurry is pumped into it at high pressure. The feed inlet causes the feed to spin round at high speed giving rise to large centrifugal forces. As a result particles a of higher sizes are run down the cone and out of the lower end outlet. Liquids with finer particle come out of the top outlet of equipment.
