specificationsmain bodythe main bed is made of cast iron. the base plate is triangular shaped and is made of sturdy cast iron. the suspension columns made of cast iron are fitted on the base plate.revolving cagethe perforated basket is made of stainless steel in standard sizes and in different gauges according to size of the machine. it consists of top flange made of stainless steel sheet and bottom flanges of heavy cast iron plate-lined with stainless steel sheet and is dynamically balanced. the outer cage side wall is also made of stainless steel sheet according to size of the machine.suspensionthe whole unit is supported on three c.i. suspension columns which are heavy to avoid vibrations. the steel pins with spring and speceial bushes are mounted with suspension columns. the whole arrangement is made to remove the vibration while the machine is running.drivethe revolving cage is driven by electric motor fixed on a support on the side of the cast iron base. electric motor is fitted with special dead load proof clutch pulley with brake lining arranged for the progressive starting of the unit. the drive from the motor to the centre pulley is through v-belts.brakethe brake is controlled by hand lever with ferodo lined linner.lubricationlubrication is dealt with by grease gun, through the main shaft provided with a small bolt on brass nut to reach the bearing housing.safety coverthe machine is supplied with solid aluminium cover interlocked with it. the machine cannot be started unless the cover is closed; the cover cannot be opened until the machine is stopped.general descriptionthis is very sturdy machine for treatment of heavy loads of cotton, woollen, hosiery, chemical industries and big laundries. water is drained out by centrifugal force. imported taper and roller bearings of heavy duty capable of withstanding heavy loads are used in the machine.
