Hydrocyclones

Hydrocyclones are used to separate solids from water soluble coolants using centrifugal force. No disposable filter media is required in the cyclonic separation process making our hydrocyclones economical, efficient and environmentally responsible. Two sizes are available:
Large, full ceramic cone has capacity of 20 gallons per minute and can be manifolded together to achieve up to 240 GPM. Separation of 7 to 10 microns in steel at approximately 95% efficiency can be achieved. Filtration achieved is dependent upon specific gravity of the material.
Small, plastic cone with either ceramic or plastic lower nozzle has capacity of 5 gallons per minute and also can be manifolded together to provide higher GPM capacity. Separation of 5 microns in steel at approximately 95% efficiency can be achieved.
