Hydroxyethyl Methyl cellulose(HEMC)is a white, yellowish-white or grayish-white powder or granules, it's a cellulose ether which is based on methyl cellulose.Our products produced from the raw material of  high purity cotton.After alkali treatment and special etherification becomes HEMC.HEMC does not contain any animal fats and other active ingredients.

Advantage

Solubility�Soluble in water and some organic solvents. It can be dissolved in cold water. Its highest concentration is determined by viscosity. Solubility varies with viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility.

salt resistance�HEMC is a nonionic cellulose etherand is not a polyelectrolyte.Therefore, when metal salt or an organic electrolyte exists, its aqueous solution is relatively stable. But an excessive addition of electrolyte will cause gelation and precipitation.

surfactivity: As its aqueous solution has the function of surface active, it can be used as colloidal protective agent, emulsifier and dispersant.

Thermal gel:When its aqueous solution is heated to a certain temperature, it becomes opaque, and the gel and precipitate forms.But when it is continuously cooled, it returns to the original solution state.
