Hypol-SBR Integral Cement Waterproofing Compound

HYPOL-SBR is an emulsion of modified styrene-acrylic polymer which is capable to adhere with any substrate. It is resistive to carbonation and hazardous chemicals. In the construction field it is used as an adhesive improver of cementious mortar.
Use :

• It is generally use for preventing cold joint formation.
• Bonding with old cementious surface.
• Polymer modified cementious repair mortar.
• Water proof cementious coating.
• Tiling adhesive and grouting.
• For heavy duty floor screeds & floor patching.

Suface Preparation : Suface should be structurally sound, clean and free from dirt. All unsound part should be removed and cleaned, moisten the surface with water before any application.
Mortar Preparation :

• Bonding / Coating : Dilute 1 Part of HYPOL-SBR with equal vol of water, to this add a mix of about 2 part cement and 2 part fine sand. After mixing throughly a thick viscous slurry obtained. Apply this slurry with paint brush.
• Polymer Modified Repair Mortar : Prepare a cementious mortar of about 1 part cement with 3 part sand and 2 part grits (if needed) to this mix. add a water mixture containing one fifth part of HYPOL-SBR
• Curing : Protective coating, screeding and repaired part should be allow for air cure for minimum of 24 hours. Then a moisture curing by gentle water sprinkling on the surface should be done twice a day for 2-3 days.
