Ikat fabric

We are offering ikat fabric. The beautiful pattern on this ikat fabric has been crated using traditional 'ikat' weaving technique which requires predetermined sections of the yarn to tied prior to being dyed. Either the warp or weft threads or both are tied to produce different kinds of ikat. A unique and complex resist dye technique, ikat requires highly skilled artisans, as each step needs to be executed with precision to ensure richness of fabric and clarity of design.
