Imcolostra Capsules

Imcolostra is a spray dried cow (bovine) colostrum supplement available as vegetarian capsule. (The IgG antibody content not less than 22%). Cow colostrum is not a milk but an anti-body rich secretion that is rich in growth factors, hormones, vitamins and anti-mcrobial peptides while being very poor in lactose. The contents help the new-born calf against microbes.  Known as Go Piyush in Ayurveda, it has been consumed as Kharvas in India since ages. It is an excellent protein supplement. But beyond that several studies have corroborated traditional medicinal uses of cow colostrum. Imcolostra supplantation may be useful as Protein supplement Supportive in the management of diarrhoea Supportive in immunity. Supportive for keeping the gut healthy and non-leaky. As a supportive in athletes where it may help to increase strength and endurance, build lean muscle mass, burn body fat, shorten recovery time, accelerate healing of injuries and support immunity during recovery. In patients admitted to ICU colostrum reduced the gut leakage and suppressed diarrhoea after 10 days of colostrum consumption. Actively training athletes have generally increased leaky guts. One study showed a good reduction in the leaking. People who take pain killers like aspirin ,ibuprofen have very leaky guts. Colostrum is found to be very useful in preventing this leakage during short term pain killer treatments (~ 1 year).In a study done of children aged 2 to 5 years and suffering from bacterial/viral diarrhoea (due to rotavirus, Shigella, Salmonella, Cryptosporidia, etc) and/or respiratory infections (due to rhinovirus, Influenza virus, Staphylococcus bacteria, etc.) the colostrum supplement significantly reduced diarrhoea after 2 months while episodes of upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) reduced by more than 90% after 3 months. Athletes are very susceptible to respiratory infections during periods of intense training  and post competition period. Cow colostrum has shown to be effective in shortening  the duration and number of episodes of symptoms of URTI.
