India's appetite for coal imports has grown steadily over the past few years due to the constantly widening gap between demand and supply in the coal sector. And also the quality of Indian Coal is considered lower in comparison to Coal from other countries, primarily due to its higher ash content and lower GCV. Most of the Coal available in India is lower quality non-coking or thermal Coal, used primarily in the power generation sector& Gasifies. Due to availability of poor quality indigenous coal and the need for specific grade of Coal, India imports huge quantity of coal. We are engaged in supply of imported Coal especially Indonesian & south-African origin.
