Imset capsules are designed using components known in the literature to support fracture healing.

• Cissus quadrangularis (Harjori): Harjori is shown clinically to promote bone fracture healing. Harjori is also shown to reduce postmenopausal loss of bone density.
• Dalbergia sisoo (shisam): Shisam leaves and heartwood are shown to induce osteogenic activity. Shisham is useful in preventing postmenopausal loss of bone density.
• Litsea glutinosa (maidalakdi): Maidalakdi is shown to exert osteoprotective effect probably through its alkaloids providing scientific evidence to its traditional use.
