features of inconel 601 rod:
1. superior resistance to sodium hydroxide solutions, chloride stress corrosion cracking.
2. as with austenitic stainless steels inconel 601 can be sensitized to intergranular corrosion in some aggressive media after heating in the temperatures range 540ºc - 760ºc.
