Inconel 601 is a high nickel based alloy which is suited for function that requires support to heat and corrosion. Inconel 601 has got superior characteristics to resist high temperature oxidation. The alloy also has good support to molten corrosion, has high mechanical durability, and is readily formed, machined and welded. Due to its extraordinary chromium content, provides resistance too many corroding and high- temperature climate. Oxidation support is more heightened by the aluminium content.
