Contact SupplierAutomatic voltage controller increases system efficiency and power quality by automatically monitoring and controlling busbars, transformers and other devices. Some of the common voltage controller devices include stabilizers, regulators, electroplating rectifiers, etc. On a power distribution system experiencing varying loading conditions, this type of sophisticated substation automation application can effectively maintain a steady transformer secondary voltage within preset limits.
The high capacity automatic voltage controllers manufactured in our unit are supervised by a team of qualified and experienced engineers. Our chief goal is to satisfy our customers by manufacturing quality products.
High current on a load affects electrical motors (smaller capacity motors upto 7.5 H.P) and devices in the following ways:
• High current causes premature failure of winding in electrical motors leading to their damage or higher losses.
• The higher losses of electrical motors in turn leads to damage of cables, switches, transformers and other associated equipment.
• In order to ensure smooth and continuous working of electrical motors, overload relays are generally set at 20% higher setting.
With the installation of the stabilizer and maintaining 390/400 volts, the motor will operate smoothly. It will draw 15 to 20% lesser current and correspondingly the relay setting can be reduced by 15 to 20%. When single phasing occurs, the relay will trip in 40 to 50 seconds. The motor can withstand the high current during this period and will be safe. Also, the switchgears, relays, contactors etc. incorporated with the motor will be safe.
