FRP GPO3/Polyester Sheet

1. Introduction:
GPO3 is also called UPGM203 plate (Unsaturated Polyester Glass). UPGM203 is IEC standard and GPO-3 is NEMA grade. It is kind of rigid plate insulating material, made of alkali-free fiberglass mat impregnated with unsaturated polyester resin, adding relevant chemical agents in heating and pressing to cure into rigid plate.
Standard Color: Red Color, White color.

2. Characteristic:

• Good flame and smoke characteristics
• Dimensional stability
• Good arc resistance and tracking resistance.

3. Application:
Widely used in the low voltage electrical industries such as rail transportation, power generation, wind energy, power transmission and distribution, metallurgy, mining, petrochemical, public transportation and other fields.

3. Further processing GPO3:
It can be machined, punched, drilled, milled, sawn, sanded, sheared or routed.
Processing steps:
Firstly, use the scale milling cutter to process, according to the different precision requirements, use the processing precision to carry on the finishing.

Secondly, assembly by bonding, metal screws or rivets are also possible. Usually, the thinner thickness sheets just use the bonding tapes, big thickness one needs metal screws and rivets to holding the material steady with the CNC table.

Thirdly, processing according the drawing by CNC machine into the different products.
