The server is able to communicate remotely over Ethernet to the industrial router, allowing remote access to the system’s data using different platforms such as PC, smartphone and tablet.
Molex’s Industrial Servers and Routers are designed for easy setup and operation with little-to-no IT training. Owning the server eliminates the need for a third-party service provider. It also provides the customer with full ownership and customizability of the platform.
A secure VPN connects the control unit to the server, and from the server to the industrial router. The software also allows for user-controlled activation and deactivation of external communication devices.
The NAT firewall hides all installed IP addresses and provides top-notch protection against potential threats.
