Industrial Strainers

Pipeline strainers are used for removing unwanted particulate from pipelines containing gaseous and liquid fluids. Most of our products are used for water-like fluids, although there are applications for heavy oil, adhesives, paint and all types of industrial slurries.

Following page illustrates several automated strainer and filter systems. Automatic strainers and automatic filter systems are used to reduce labor hours otherwise required for accessing and cleaning strainer baskets and filter elements. The cost effectiveness of an automatic strainer compared to a conventional simplex strainers and duplex strainers depends upon many factors, although based upon strictly initial unit cost, pricing is relatively close for flow rates corresponding to 8" and larger sized pipelines
