Injection Molding

Proto Plastics operates 19 injection molding presses, including Roboshot electric injection molding machines. The presses range in tonnage up to 440 tons enabling us to handle a broad range of part applications. Each one is a microprocessor-controlled Cincinnati Milacron machine, which gives us great repeatability, flexibility in press scheduling, and fast reaction to customer changes. We routinely operate on a two shift basis. This minimizes unnecessary press shutdowns and startups, lowers our operating costs, and maintains the capacity necessary for high volume requirements.
