Injection Moulding

Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting material into a mould. Injection moulding is widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest components to entire body panels of cars.

This process allows to produce products of more complex and intricate shapes that would be too difficult or costly to machine. The injection molded plastics process also allows many parts to be created at the same time with the same mold. Other advantages include high production rates, low labor costs and high repeat tolerance, plus there is very little need to do anything to finish the part after it is molded. The unused plastic pellets and runners can also be recycled for future molds so there is virtually no waste.
