NOMEX INSULATED

In general two types of NOMEX paper are being used, Type 410 (used in Dry-type transformer) and Type 411 (used in Oil-Filled transformer)
Benefits of using NOMEX insulation:
1) High temperature resistance
2) Better electrical properties i.e. better dielectric strength.

NOMEX insulated conductors are more effective where all the three properties of paper i.e. thermal, mechanical as well as electrical properties are of great importance.
Because of its high temperature resistance properties they can be used in high ambient temperature.
