Clinical Application and Principle
Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Apparatus (commonly known as hemiplegic comprehensive therapeutic apparatus) is also called gradient pressure therapeutic apparatus, limbs circulation instrument, antithrombotic pressure pump. It is composed of host machine, airbag and airway tube. The sequential repeated charging and discharging of the multi-cavity airbag forms the circulating pressure to limbs and organizations. It will promote the venous return, strengthen the artery infusion and improve blood and lymph circulation and microcirculation. It will prevent coagulation factor aggregation or adhesion to vascular intima, increase the activity of fibrinolysis, prevent the formation of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and eliminate edema.
Main Performances
 Pressure Setting Range: 5-25 kpa, Accuracy ±3kpa.
 Working Style: working continuously.
 Over-Pressure Alarming: pressure higher than 30 kpa, alarming and stop working.
 Under- Pressure Alarming: lower setting pressure, intermittent alarming and stop working.
 End Alarming: alarming after finishing setting time of treatment, intermittent alarming and stop working.
