The definition of an interposing relay panel is an electrical unit used for hardwired signals with digital inputs and outputs that interfaces between the control equipment and circuit breakers or a monitoring controller. The interposing relay is necessary because it separates the circuits and allows them to switch from high to low or low to high voltages and currents. This helps if the solenoid, which is connected to the relay, has a different voltage than the PLC. There are occasions when you will not need an interposingrelay.
