    • SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

      • Always connect the inverter to a two pole, three wire mains socket. The socket must be connected to appropriate branch protection ( fuse/ circuit-breaker).
      • Always ensure that the electrical connection to the inverter is properly earthed. Improper earthling might cause unexpected current leakage and prove hazardous.
      • Do not install the inverter in open, excessively humid place or where there is water. Foreign objects or water ingress inside that unit can severely damage the internal components of the inverter.
      • Care should be taken to ensure that the inverter is kept away from direct sunlight and heat emitting appliances. The place of installation should be well ventilated and easily accessible.
      • The inverter does not contain any user serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to remove the cover the unit. Live main present inside the circuits can render and electric shock.

    OPERATING MODES OF THE INVERTER

    Mains/charging of the mode
The inverter function on Mains Mode when the input AC mains is within the stipulated range from 90V AC to 280 V AC. The charger section starts functioning and continues to boost charge the batteries till the top-up voltage is reached . Thereafter the batteries are pulse charged to maintain optimum battery condition for an extended period of time. The connected loads are fed from input Mains Power. LED status indicator is GREEN. In the LCD models, mains Mode , Charging Mode, Mains input voltage, Battery level percentage etc are sequentially displayed on (16×2) backlit LCD.

    Inverter / Backup mode
In the event of brownouts (<90V AC) on High Voltage (>280V AC) or Total Mains Failure(blackouts), the Inverter switches to loads derived from the Batteries. The Inverter keeps on supplying power till  the time the battery gets depleted, in which case the inverter put out an alarm and thereafter shuts off. During invertor Mode, if for any reason the inverter gets overloaded , it trips and then restart after a while. The inverter makes a total of 5 restart attempts. Front panel LED status indicator is RED. In the LCD models, Inverter mode, Battery level percentage, Load level percentage, Input voltage level etc are sequentially displayed on (16×2) backlit  LCD.

    REAR PANEL DESCRIPTION

    • Three Pin Mains input Terminal Block for mains input
