ISO stands for the International Organization for Standardization was founded On 23 February 1947 at Headquarter in Geneva (Switzerland). ISO is an independent Organization of 170 countries, one member per country, with a Central control office in Geneva, Switzerland. ISO is a non-governmental independent organization work as a bridge between Organization and public to comply with the requirement of ISO Standard. ISO has three official languages: English, French and Russian. ISO is an independent Non-government body that comprises of representatives of national standard organizations of 164 member countries. In India ISO certification is granted to every organization that are able to successfully comply with the requirements of standards as formulated by the international standardization organization. There are multiple kinds of standards stipulated by the ISO for the improvement of internal and external procedures of different kinds of organizations to implement their system according to global standard. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the national standard organization which represents India.
