Closed Circuit Test Rig:
a) The test rig consists of a 1.0 HP mono block jet pump (ejecto pump) of size. The pump discharges about 30 lpm at a total head of 20m. The pump is powered by single phase, 220 Volts, 50Hz. A stop watch and an M.S. Collecting tank of size 90 liters. With a gauge glass scale fitting, a drain valve and a bend are provided to measure the actual flow rate. An energy meter is provided to measure the input power to the pump set.
b) Other standard accessories include switch, flow control gate valve, foot valve and piping system with suitable pressure taps to fix the pressure and vacuum gauges.
C) A sump tank of size 250 liters with suitable drain is provided to store the water. A strong iron stand fitted with wheels supports the complete test rig. The unit is moveable. All tanks are provided with FRP lining for total rust protection.
