The mast is held in a perpendicular position by ceiling and floor mounting. It can also be held by wall bracket mounting. Nonetheless, the most commonly used design is the Self-Supported variety at the bottom. Jib Cranes that we deal in lessen congestion and increase output with comparatively small forging presses and other production machines. • Base Mounted Type : This self-supported jib crane has 360° rotation and is designed for base plate mounting on concrete foundation.
  
• Travelling Wall Bracket Type : It covers the lengthwise area near the building columns without obstruction at floor level. It requires special design for columns. These cranes do not rotate but travels on runway tracks suspended along building / shed columns.
• Fixed Wall Bracket Type : This jib crane has 200° maximum rotation and is designed for wall / RCC Column bracket mounting. It covers the area near the bracket mounting without obstruction at floor level.

• All the three motions (hoisting, trolley travel and rotation) may be hand-operated or electrified or a combination such as electric hoist with hand power rotation and trolley travel.
• These types of cranes are extensively used at fabrication shops, assembly floors, machine shops, loading and unloading purposes and can be both outdoor as well as indoor duty
