rubber press roll  is more important to provide good elasticity and ease the pressing effect of the upper press roll on the wet paper and felt, thereby prolonging the service life of the felt and reducing the "compression" of the wet paper.
the elastic encapsulated lower roller can also give the two rollers good contact and uniform dehydration effects, and compensate for the high error of the lower pressure roller.
the rubber hardness of the rubber roller in the production of general paper is usually 70 to 90 shore hardness. rubber rollers used for each press in the press section.

jumbo press roll usually refers to a nip composed of pressing rollers which a diameter of more than 1000mm. it is often used in the production of corrugated paper, cardboard, and other paper or cardboard with large basis weight.
normally, the paper machine adopts this technology has the feature of high speed, low energy consumption, and good paper quality. therefore, jumbo pressing technology and equipment have become the first choice in the speed-up and energy-saving of old paper machines and the design of new paper machines.

vacuum suction press roll is mostly used in medium and high speed paper machines.
the function of the vacuum chamber is only to suck the air in the shell holes. the thicker the roll shell, the more air volume is sucked. therefore, the use of high-strength metal to make a vacuum suction press roll with a thin roll shell is beneficial to improve the efficiency of press dehydration.
