Jute can be processed for Food Grade & Oeko Tex Certification as well. Food Grade Jute meet international quality standards and are protected against any contamination of hydrocarbons as well as devoid of kerosene odour.
Jute has a natural colour and it can be dyed as well using azo free dyes. To make the bags sturdy and last longer we can either laminate the fabric using PP/PE granules or starch the fabric using natural starching agents.
As, stretch ability of jute fiber is very low, it gives a more rigid and strong structure to jute bag for making sturdy bags or pouches. The most common weave counts are 13 x 13, 14 x 15 & 17 x 17. The most ideal bags of Jute fabric are Shopping bags, Pouches, Vegetable bags, Bottle bags, etc.
