KAM MTU is India 's first Chassis mounted Mobile Faecal Sludge Treatment Unit. MTU attempts to address several barriers to achieving safely managed septic waste and is designed in such a way that it is replicable across geography. The higher flow rate of MTU helps in emptying & treating more number of septic tanks per day, bringing down the operational cost of the truck, especially its fuel cost, maximizing the profit. Treatment system mounted on a small/medium truck. Designed to treat contents of septic tank at the household/site itself. Separates solids and liquids, liquid gets treated on the spot, thickened sludge carried for further treatment. Operational capacity is 6000 litres per hour.
