Pulikatta or Bagh Bakri is an indoor board game of strategy and planning, inspired by the hunting traditions of India’s royalty and military generals. It requires two players, aged 5 years and above, to play the game with a set of 3 tigers and 15 lambs or goats. One player is in charge of the tigers, while the other control s the goats.
Kidz Valle’s Huli Aata Puli Aatam board game is played by placing all the 18 tiger and lamb counters, alternately, on their marked boxes. The player with the lambs continues placing them on the board, while the player with the tigers may either move a tiger to an adjacent point or 'kill' a lamb by jumping over it and removing it from the board.
Rules of the gameAccording to the rules of the game, several ‘lambs’ may be killed by a series of jumps by a ‘tiger’ in a single move. The ‘tiger’ not only has to kill a minimum number of lambs at one go, but also has to be nimble and smart enough to dodge the gradual ganging up of the lambs who try to pen the tiger into a corner, ending the game.
What’s in the boxThis Kidz Valle board game comes with 3 yellow pawns for the tigers, 15 green pawns for the lambs or goats, and one instruction sheet.
