Contact SupplierThis goat was intentionally bred in the land of New Zealand so as to lead a bountiful supply of meat. The term kiko means flesh and sometimes meat. Its developers, Garrick and Anne Batten came from South Island and they came up with the Kiko breed from feral goats that got freedom from the European settlement. They can be found in various parts of the country and they are known to have tough bodies but relatively smaller than the other breeds.
This breed was the result from the mix breeding of specific feral goats along with the Saanen, Anglo-Nubian and the Toggenburg.
