As we all know health should be at priority, beginning from the place where the products are manufactured/grown. Instead of using chemical fertilizers if we practice using cocopeat, the by-product of coconut trees, it provides the goodness of the nature as well as eliminates the harm of the chemical fertilizers.
Coco peat increases the porosity of the potting mix. This helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. Better root growth results in better plant growth and higher yield. Coco peat increases the water holding capacity of the potting mix even as it increases the porosity of the soil.
