Battery Kva Meter

KVA Meters are available in analog or digital formats and can be panel-mounted or DIN rail-mounted depending on installation requirements. They are typically designed for single-phase or three-phase systems, with voltage ranges up to 500V and current inputs from 1A to 5A (via CTs – Current Transformers). These meters display apparent power in KVA, calculated using root mean square (RMS) values of voltage and current. Digital versions often come with backlit LCD or LED displays, multiple input/output configurations, programmable settings, and Modbus/RS-485 communication for integration into SCADA or energy management systems. The meters operate with high accuracy (typically class 0.5 or 1.0) and conform to standards like IEC 62053, IS 13779, or IS 14697. They are commonly used in generator panels, distribution boards, motor control centers, and energy audits for monitoring transformer and equipment loading.
