uses:
determinations in serum for immunology, microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry and tdm. Sampling – mailing – centrifugation all in one.
Additive:
lab dispo - serum gel tube are coated with micronized silica practical + polymer gel added, after clotting process is complete (10 – 20 minutes) the tube is recommend to be centrifuge at 1700 g for 10 minutes. This separates serum from blood clot. The polymer gel keeps serum plasma for 48 hours without affecting values.
