 Lactic Acid

 Lactic Acid is a colorless to yellowish syrupy liquid. It is odorless

 and is miscible with water, alcohol, glycerol, and furfural.

 Lactic Acid is commonly used in the dairy industry as an acidulant.

 Other areas of application include salts, plastics, adhesives,

 pharmaceuticals, textiles, and detergents.

 (3)Sulfates     Not more than 0.006%

 (4)Cyanide     The color of the solution does not change to blue.

 (5)Heavy Metals     Not more than 0.001%

 (6)Iron     Not more than 0.001%

 (7)Arsenic(as As2O3)     Not more than 0.0001%
