Laparotomy Sponges

SafeOps Laparotomy Sponges (Mops) are made of 100% pure surgical grade cotton gauze. The sponges are soft, have high absorbency and are packaged pre-washed. The edges are sealed and stitched with cotton thread, preventing the possibility of any loose fibers and lint residue. The mops come with X-ray detectable thread and cotton tape for easy handling. The mops come in a variety of standard and customized sizes, and are available both sterile and un-sterile.
