Laser Cutting

To support our concept-to-completion manufacturing capabilities, PMF Industries, Inc. leverages the benefits of laser cutting for a variety of purposes. Our facility houses a powerful, 6,000 W CO2 laser capable of making clean, accurate cuts in 34" stainless steel sheet as well as many other materials. The large-bed capacity allows us to cut sheets measuring up to 60.0" in width x 120.0" in length while upholding tolerances as close as ±0.003".
Our laser cutter is a valuable asset for creating preforms for flow formed products. Using a laser cutter eliminates the need for costly blanking tooling, and when combined with its 3D cutting capabilities, we can dramatically reduce setup and processing times. Our laser cutter also provides us with the flexibility to create complex forms and accurate features on pipes and other tube-shaped products. We can fabricate 3D shaped components of any geometric complexity, and by combining narrow kerf cuts with sophisticated part nesting software, very little material goes to waste. If your part needs marking or engraving, our non-contact laser marking capabilities allow us to produce clear, easy-to-read, and permanent identification.
