Contact SupplierThe Leno Motion Weaving Assembly is a mechanical unit designed for use in shuttle or shuttleless looms to produce leno weave fabrics with enhanced edge stability and structural integrity. Constructed with a precision-ground main shaft, cast iron or mild steel mounting supports, and hardened alloy steel gears, this assembly ensures synchronized and reliable motion transmission during high-speed weaving. It features a cam or gear-based mechanism that facilitates the controlled crossing of ground and doup warp threads, creating a stable mesh structure in the fabric. The system operates through mechanical power input, typically driven via chain or gear linkage from the loom shaft. It functions effectively within ambient temperature ranges of 10°C to 50°C and does not require any electrical voltage source. The housing may be provided with a transparent protective cover for safe operation and visual inspection. Surface components are usually rust-protected with paint or plating for durability. The assembly is widely used in the production of netting, gauze, curtain fabrics, and technical textiles, and may be compatible with looms conforming to IS, ISO, or other textile machinery standards.
