Light Alloys

Cal Nano provides several light alloy powders including aluminum and aluminum alloys, titanium and titanium alloys and magnesium and magnesium alloys with nano enhanced grains. Light alloy billets are available.
CNO light alloys provide the benefits of the original base material plus the benefits of nano-enhanced grain structure and potential reinforcement. Applications range from the aerospace industry to the sports & recreation industry.
Consolidation of nano enhanced powders is available with vacuum sintering, HIPing, Spark Plasma Sintering and standard wirerod extrusion processes. These materials may be further machined or cold forged.
