Light Duty Ferrule

Use Light duty ferrule on hose for low pressure air (1/2″ size or smaller), water, welding, and various other fluids (non-critical applications). Also install them using a crimping machine to provide a smooth, uniform grip on the hose barb.

The material of the ferrules must be compatible with all materials to which it may be exposed. Therefore this includes both – the materials being transferred as well as external materials.

The uses of crimped ferrule / sleeve on a cam and groove fittings to old MIL-C-27487 may result in damage to the hose assembly.
