Lightning Arrester

The Polymeric Surge Arrestors for distribution system has been developed by using silicone rubber. The new type of silicone rubber was examined by the accelerated weathering tests and applied to the shed material of the polymeric surge Arrestor. The tests confirmed that the silicone rubber had an excellent weather resistance and high water repellency during the long term weathering tests.
