Lime oil consists mainly of limonene, α-terpineol, terpinen-4-ol, 1,4-cineole, 1,8-cineole, β-pinene, p-cymene, β- bisabolene, citral, Extraction: Steam Distillation is the most widely used methods for the extraction of Lime Oil. Lime Oil is Pale yellow coloured fluid liquid with strong odour and taste of fresh Lime. The Lime Essential Oil is commonly used in aromatherapy. Also, the oil is used in food, cosmetics, and as a flavoring agent in foods and medicines.
