Locknuts

Locknuts can be used to fix bearings on shaft or adapter sleeve they also give a easier mounting of bearing with a tapered shaft seat and the fitting and dismantling of the bearings on sleeves.Locknuts are made from steel and the tensile strength of the material is atleast 350 N/mm2. They have four or eight evenly spaced slots on the circumfrence into which hook renches or strinking face renches can be fitted.
