Low Hydrogen Welding Electrode AWS A5.1 E7016 Copper Bridge brand J506(AWSE7016) is a low hydrogen potassium coated type electrode of superior quality for carbon steel .The finish weld has good mechanical properties and crack resistance ,the bead surface looks neat and fine .With little spatter ,easy to remove the slag ,the electrode gives good welding technological performance .It can be used on both AC and DC .When used AC,the open circuit voltage must be more than 60V. Before welding ,it is necessary to clean the weldpiece and remove impurities such as oil and grease rust and moisture ,and bake the electrodes at about 350 for one hour .
