Lubricating Grease Penetrometer

We are offering lubricating grease penetrometer,
purpose:
gd-2801c asphalt penetrometer is designed and made as per the national standard gbt 4509 “test methods for needle penetration of petroleum asphalt”, gbt 269 “test methods for cone penetration of lubricating grease and petroleum grease”, and t0604 “asphalt penetration test” in the industry standard jtj052 specification and test methods of bitumen and bituminous mixture for highway engineering. It is used to determine penetration of asphalt and lubricating grease.
1. Asphalt: the needle penetration of asphalt is expressed as the depth that a standard needle of 100±0.05 g vertically penetrates into a sample without any measurable friction in 5 seconds in the constant temperature bath of 25°c±0.1°c. It is to evaluate consistency of asphalt. The larger the penetration is, the less the consistency is and the softer the asphalt is.
2. Lubricating grease: the cone penetration of lubricating grease or petroleum grease is expressed as the depth that a standard cone of 150 g vertically penetrates into a sample without any measurable friction in 5 seconds in the constant temperature bath of 25°c±0.1°c. It is used to evaluate the hardness of lubricating grease or petroleum grease.
It can also be used for solid granule, powder, colloid and other materials test, as well as cream, glycine, butter, margarine cream, fermentation, and other food inspection. It has been widely used in food, highway construction and other industries.
