Magnesium Stearate is the Magnesium salt of stearic acid having chemical formula C36H70MgO4. It is white, non hazardous, waxy, non toxic powder with a slight characterstic fatty odor. It is a soft fine fluffy free flowing powder with low solubility in water.

General Application :

It is a dusting powder in pharmaceutical industries. It is added to cosmetics and powders where it imparts improved properties of adhesion to skin.
It is also used as a mould release and lubricant in plastics and food contact(packing)
