Electro Permanent Magnetic (EPM) Chucks are highly suitable for heavy-duty milling operations, especially on medium, large, and even rough components.
For proper clamping, at least 4 alternate magnetic poles must come into contact.
The job clamped magnetically should have a minimum thickness of 20 mm.
All five faces of the workpiece can be machined in a single setup when clamped magnetically.
